The line of stall on Jalan Cikapundung. This location was the famous culinary place in Bandung. Since 1998 people prefer to eat on the street café on Jalan Dago, Jalan Diponegoro, Jalan Cihampelas, Jalan Cilaki and other main street, along with the slack of a mall around Cikapundung.

Did you watch Tom Cruise on Mission Impossible movie? This guy and his friend (about a hundred member of Bandung Freestyle Motorbike) can easily do the same stunt.

They do the stunt just for fun and everybody can watch for free. Every weekend from 5 to 6 PM and especially during Ramadhan is everyday. Location is in front of Perjuangan Monument.

“Ikan Bakar Do’i” (Do’i Roasted fish)
Yesterday, we were break the fast at “Ikan Bakar Do’i” (Do’i Roasted fish) where located on the T-intersection of Dago and Ganesha street. “Do’i” is acronym of “Doyan Ikan” which is mean “ like to eat fish”.

According to me the flavor is delicious, specially its “sambal dadak” (the fresh sauce made with shrimp paste).

When we were came here most of its chair are empty, maybe if they a bit decrease price then more customer will come.

Why Bandung called the flower city? I’m not sure, because there are no unforgetable flowers in the city street border. Some say the real reason it is called the flower city is because the girls of the Bandung city are known for their beauty.

Nyoman Nuarta's Workshop
Nyoman Nuarta is a Bali born sculptor who now permanently lives in Bandung. He is the man has created four sculptures in Bandung city including "patung ikan" (fish sculpture), "patung maung" (tiger sculpture), "patung bola" (football sculpture) and "patung tangan" (hand sculpture)

Nyoman Nuarta’s giant project is to create “Garuda Wisnu Kencana” in Bali, now in progress. The sculpture made in his workshop at the northern part of Bandung and carry to Bali piece by piece with trucks and helicopter for the big part.

This is Nyoman Nuarta’s workshop. I shot this photo from the mountain side of its 3 ha NuArt sculpture park.

This is Blue Bird, a Jakarta-based taxi operator, is the most well-known and professional taxi company in the country and formerly when it came to this city, protested by other taxi driver in Bandung because is viewed as a threat. But now they welcomed in the city.

I think, If they want to survive then they must improve their services in the fair competition, and do not blame it on others.
